Terms of Service

Your account

You sign in with a Google account and are responsible for what happens under it. Keep your Google account secure, and tell us at support@barya.app if you think someone else is using yours. You must be at least 13 (or the minimum age for online services where you live) to use Barya. If you are under the age of majority, you need a parent or guardian's permission.

Free trial and plans

• Every new account gets 30 days free with every feature. You won't be charged for the trial.
• After the trial, you can choose a monthly plan (Live Sync or Scheduled Backup) or a one-time purchase (Own it). Prices are shown in your store's local currency, including any taxes, before you buy.
• Purchases in the iOS and Android apps are made through the App Store or Google Play and follow their payment, renewal and refund rules, including any cancellation or withdrawal rights your country gives you. Monthly plans renew automatically until you cancel.
• Cancel anytime in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings. Cancelling stops the next renewal; your plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for.

Your data

What you enter in Barya stays yours. You give us permission to store and process it only to run the app for you, as described in our Privacy Policy. You can delete your account and data at any time; see Delete your account.

Not financial advice

Barya is a budgeting tool. Its numbers, suggestions and summaries are based on what you enter and are not financial, tax, legal or investment advice. You are responsible for your own money decisions.

Acceptable use

Don't misuse Barya. For example, don't:

• break the law or others' rights while using it;
• try to access other people's accounts or data, or our systems beyond the app;
• disrupt, overload, reverse-engineer or copy the service, except where the law allows.

Our app

Barya, its design, mascot and content belong to Barya. We give you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the app on devices you own or control. If you downloaded Barya from the App Store, Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies.

Changes and availability

We keep improving Barya and may change or remove features. We aim to keep it running, but can't promise it will always be available or error-free. If we change these terms in an important way, we'll tell you in the app before the change takes effect.

Ending your use

You can stop using Barya and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms, and will tell you when we can.

Disclaimers and liability

Barya is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, Barya is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for losses from decisions made using the app. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability or rights that can't be limited under the consumer law of the country where you live.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you can bring a claim in your local courts.
